Sam & Syd is first inspired by the friendship between her & her cousin Sydney. Sydney’s sudden passing in 2011, as well as the legacy she left behind, spurred Sam into making the jump into seizing her dream into creative entrepreneurship. A few years later Samantha had her daughter, named after her dearest friend & cousin, Sydney. Through her cousins passing, Sam gained 3 best friends that soon helped the business evolve into what it is today.
Sam & Syd is all about making your dream day come true from full planning to floral design & set up, we’re here to make your vision a reality. We take pride in building personal relationships with each and every client, we’ve gained many friendships with our brides and couples over the years and we’re always looking for ways to connect with you! No vision or idea is out of reach for us, we will always work our hardest to making your dreams a reality.

Samantha Hartshorn-Santos
Owner/Head Coordinator/Planner/Florist
Wifey & mama of 1, boss lady and owner of Sam & Syd and Wild at Hart. She’s the main face of everything weddings and has been in the industry since 2013. When she’s not busy making your event the best it can be she’s at home with her husband of 6 years, 3 year old daughter and her 5 dogs watching her favorite movie Twilight. She loves traveling and adventuring to new places, and spending time with those she loves. She graduated from FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandise) and started in product design before realizing events & floral design was her true calling.
Jessica Schiavone
Coordinator/Florist/Communications
From creating custom wedding signs to arranging your wedding flowers, Jessica loves everything to do with creativity. She has been in the wedding business with Samantha since 2015 and loves growing the business with her best friend. When she’s not helping with weddings, Jessica is designing and making custom clothing for Wild at Hart. She loves camping and going on adventures with her husband and her pup.
Taylor Plummer
Coordinator
Taylor is a girl mama of 3 and has been married for 9 years to the love of her life. She has been in the wedding business with Samantha since 2017. When she’s not helping coordinate your special day, she’s busy at the dental office as an Endodontics assistant. She loves shopping, spending time with her beautiful family & traveling to places with a beach.
Sydney Santos

Last but certainly not least, we have to shout out our favorite Sam + Syd girlie. Sydney is the daughter of Samantha Santos, who partially inspired the Company name. You might see her cheering us along during the set up for your special day, accompanied by her father Steve Santos. She is 5 years old and her favorite hobbies include coloring, playing sports and hanging out with her parents. She loves helping us with flowers and she loves interacting with all of our couples. She is the best cheerleader when it comes to anything wedding!
